Chefs legen Wert auf einen ordentlich aufgeräumten Schreibtisch. Sie halten Mitarbeiter, die ein eher chaotisches Umfeld bevorzugen, für unzuverlässig, unprofessionell und nachlässig.

Is your desk tidy and organised or does it look as if it has just been hit by a bomb? You may be able to find your way through the chaos of your workplace, but for most bosses an untidy desk reflects an untidy mind. Almost seventy percent of bosses say they want their secretary’s desk to be tidy.

A secretary with an untidy desk is less reliable and professional and more careless, they believe. The findings are the result of a survey by software manufacturer Logitech.

One hundred top managers from sixteen countries took part in the survey.
