When you are typing an English document and have to use quotation marks (“…”), remember that in English they are always positioned high, both at the beginning and end of a quotation. So you don’t write: „Secretary Today”, but “Secretary Today”.
To change the quotation marks from the German to the English system, go to Einfügen in the menu.
Click on AutoText and then on AutoFormat. Remove the tick (✔) from the box next to Gerade Anführungszeichen durch typographische.
Your quotation marks will now appear in the English style.
When you need to write a German text again, put the tick back in the box.
