When we want to delete items, Word always asks us if we are really sure. In general, this is not such a bad idea. It gives us a chance to change our mind at the last minute. We may have been too hasty deleting those old minutes or that draft for tomorrow’s meeting. But when you are absolutely sure you’re never going to need that object again, you can bypass the recycle bin.
Simply highlight the item you want to get rid of then press Shift + Delete. Just be careful, because it’s really gone and there’s no way you’ll get it back.
